Deck Distribution for YCM Legends Series January 2011

The new YCM Legends Series has brought us twice as many participants as last time. More participants have brought us a more varied meta, let's see what that varied meta is and what has changed!

 

At first glance, it appears that the amount of undermeta decks have increased in this tournament, with Gem-Knight and Sacred in this category, not showing as much representation as they were hyped. Inzektor has become the dominant deck, surpassing the amount of Plant Synchro in this tournament, but doesn't go over Plant Synchro's meta coverage in the last YCM Legends Series. Rabbit and Agent have gotten more popularity over the last tournament, as well as Gallis, Gladiator Beast, and Malefic. Karakuri has also shown a strong increase in comparison to the last showing, where only one player played the deck and made the top cut. On the downside, Dark Worlds are seeing less play, which is reasonable enough looking at the current meta of this format.

This tournament is swarmed with different decks, but only one will come out as the winner. Stay tuned for more coverage.
