Top 8: Michael Ojama vs. Klavier Gavin

At long last, we're in the Top 8 of the fantastic YCM Legends Tournament!

The first match played today is pitting Michael Ojama's Gallis Deck against Klavier Gavin's Karakuri Machina Plant Deck! Let's see how the first competitors in the finals play their games!

Klavier goes first and Summons Machina Gearframe. He activates its effect, but Michael chains with Herald of Orange Light, sending it and Mystical Shine Ball to negate the effect and destroy the monster! Klavier ends his turn.

Michael Normal Summons The Agent of Mystery - Earth, and activates its effect, searching his Deck for The Agent of Creation - Venus. He attacks directly for 1000 damage and ends his turn.

Klavier Special Summons Cyber Dragon and attacks Earth, destroying it.

Michael Normal Summons The Agent of Creation - Venus and activates its effect twice, paying 500 apiece to Special Summon a Mystical Shine Ball from his Deck. He then reveals Gallis the Star Beast in his hand, sending Effect Veiler from the top of his Deck to Special Summon Gallis and inflict 200 damage to Klavier! He then Overlays his two Shine Balls to Xyz Summon Daigusto Phoenix, and also Overlays Venus with Gallis to Xyz Summon Number 17: Leviathan Dragon! He detaches Venus from Leviathan to boost it by 500, and a Material from Phoenix so that it can attack twice this turn.

But the storm isn't over with that! He banishes the Venus in his Graveyard to Special Summon Master Hyperion, and banishes a Shine Ball for its effect, destroying Cyber Dragon and leaving Klavier open to receive all the attacks for game!

The explosive force of the Gallis decks leaves Klavier reeling and quickly seizes the first game! Klavier will be going first in the second game!

Game 2

Klavier plays Pot of Duality, revealing Cyber Dragon, Karakuri Watchdog mdl 313 "Saizan", and Monster Reborn. He adds Cyber Dragon to his hand and activates Prohibition, declaring The Agent of Creation - Venus.

Michael Sets a monster and ends.

Klavier Special Summons Cyber Dragon, and Normal Summons Glow-Up Bulb. He Synchs the two monsters for Brionac, Dragon of the Ice Barrier and activates its effect, discarding Spore to target Michael's monster. However, Michael sends Herald of Orange Light and Venus from his hand to negate and destroy Brionac! Klavier ends his turn.

Michael flips Ryko, Lightsworn Hunter and uses its effect to destroy Prohibition, milling Card Trooper, Genex Ally Birdman, and an Agent of Creation - Venus from his Deck. He Normal Summons another Venus and activates its effect 3 times, Special Summoning 3 Mystical Shine Ball from his Deck. He Overlays two Shine Balls for Daigusto Phoenix, and Overlays Ryko and the third Shine Ball for Gachi Gachi Gantetsu. He banishes a Venus from the Graveyard for Master Hyperion, and Klavier scoops, even before seeing the Monster Reborn in Michael's hand!

There was just no stopping Michael's Gallis Deck this match, and he steamrolls Klavier twice in a row with explosive swarming! Good games!
